There`s something undeniably magical about a sunrise elopement. It`s the promise of a new beginning, the world awakening with you as you embark on life`s greatest adventure. 🌅🧡 Ben and Sara`s sunrise ceremony in Acadia was nothing short of enchanting.

Trusting me with a last-minute location change, they met me at the trailhead in the dim pre-dawn light. Their willingness to embrace the unknown led us to a breathtaking, secluded spot, away from the world, where the first light of day greeted us in solitude. There, on the rocky cliffs, with the ocean`s expanse before them and their beloved dog Fable (adorably serving as their maid of honor), they shared their vows and exchanged rings. 🐾💍

Sara, whose favorite color is the vibrant hue of sunrise, was in for a surprise. Just days before, I had picked gorgeous orange dahlias from my mom`s garden further north in Maine. The bouquet, a spontaneous creation, brought an extra touch of beauty and personal significance to their day. And it seems Fable was quite the fan of them too!

Our journey continued through Acadia, immersed in the saturated glory of autumn foliage. In a quiet, reflective moment overlooking the Atlantic, we paid homage to Sara`s father, whose spirit felt ever-present in one of his favorite places, by the ocean. It’s moments like these that remind us of the deeply personal and meaningful ways to include our loved ones in our elopement day.

Ben’s incredible artistry shone through in his vow books, each stroke a testament to their unique love story. Their day was as artful and intentional as their love for each other, a true celebration of starting anew under the day`s first light.
