THE BRIDE’S TOP 10

Madison’s first favorites from her Maine weekend sneak peeks

Ever wonder which photos someone chooses first after their sneak peek gallery is delivered?

These were Madison’s first favorites from her incredible Maine weekend with Jason, and I love seeing what stood out to her right away.

Sometimes it’s the details. Sometimes it’s the people they love. Sometimes it’s the way the light hit, the feeling in the room, or a photo that brings them right back to one tiny moment they never want to forget.

That’s one of my favorite parts of delivering galleries. I get to see what they felt most connected to, not just what I loved as the photographer.

These are the bride’s top 10.

Next up: my photographer’s top 10 picks.

I just finished editing Zoie + Mark’s Super 8 film and aligning it with their private vow recording, and I definitely wasn’t crying listening to the things they love about each other and the promises they made. 😭

Their vows are private for a reason, so I won’t be sharing those here.

But they now have their own forever film to remember the feeling of those words, those commitments, and this chapter of their story in Grand Teton National Park.

Their film starts with horseback riding in the Tetons, which still feels like one of the most unforgettable ways to build adventure into an elopement day. Horses, mountains, wind, Super 8, private vows, and the kind of memories that already feel nostalgic while they’re happening.

This is why adding Super 8 and/or video to your elopement can be so sentimental.

Photography lets you hold the still moments. Super 8 feels like memory. Video lets you hear the movement, the laughter, the landscape, and if you choose to record them, the vows you made to each other.

I’m still working on Zoie + Mark’s full hybrid film with digital video and Super 8, and I cannot wait to share that with them so they can play it at their celebration with friends and family later this year. Finding the right music that fits the feeling of the day is such an important part of the story, and I don’t take that lightly.

It brings me so much joy to create memories like these for our couples.

If you’re planning an elopement and want private vows recorded, Super 8, video, horseback riding, or a full experience designed around how the day actually feels, this is your sign.

Now booking 2027 elopements:

Grand Teton National Park in July
The Dolomites in August
Patagonia in April
Acadia in June, September + October

Not every elopement has to be a hiking adventure.

Sometimes it looks like a gorgeous design-forward Airbnb in Woodstock, New York, bare feet in the grass, your daughters running around and playing near the waterfalls, and a ceremony that has everyone in tears.

Deniele + John chose Marsh Meadows in Woodstock for their intimate Airbnb elopement, and it made so much sense for them. They love design and architecture, and this home, which has been featured in places like Architectural Digest and Vogue, felt like the perfect setting for a day that was beautiful, personal, and completely their own.

George officiated a commitment ceremony not only between the two of them, but with their girls woven into the heart of it. It was emotional, honest, family-centered, and so full of love.

Everyone was barefoot. The energy was carefree. The girls explored and played. The waterfalls became part of the soundtrack. The whole afternoon felt relaxed, meaningful, and deeply connected to the people who mattered most.

This is what I love about Airbnb elopements.

They give you space to slow down, be together, cook, play, celebrate, rest, and create an experience around how you actually want to spend your day. Your elopement does not have to be a performance, a packed timeline, or a checklist of locations.

It can be designed around your family, your energy, your style, your love of architecture, your favorite kind of afternoon, and the way you want the day to feel.

We are so grateful we get to share these incredible experiences with our couples.

We are booking 2027 elopements for couples who want something intentional, beautiful, and fully their own. Summer elopements with George as your officiant and amazing assistant are especially close to our hearts.

If you’re dreaming of a relaxed Airbnb elopement in New York, Dolomites Acadia, Grand Teton, or beyond, reach out through the contact form. I’ll help you shape the day around what matters most to you. 🤍

Zoie + Mark’s two-day Grand Teton elopement on black and white film.

Classic. Nostalgic. Timeless. My favorite.

Zoie chose black and white film with borders for part of their elopement story, and I’m so glad she did. There is something about film in the Tetons that just hits differently. The mountains, the horses, the wind, the quiet, the emotion, the way the grain holds a memory.

Their gallery is almost ready, and I am so stoked to deliver it to them. Their highlight film is already finished, the Super 8 came back from the lab and is so good, and the only piece left is editing their full-length elopement film so I can weave the whole story together.

This is what I love about two-day Grand Teton elopements.

There is room for the day to breathe.

Room for private vows, loved ones, horses, hiking, slow moments, film, Super 8, video, and the kind of experience that does not feel rushed or packed into one timeline.

And please don’t sleep on horseback riding with @jhoutfitting, incredible wranglers and herd. It was such a beautiful part of their experience and truly one of my favorite ways to explore this landscape.

George and I are already so excited to be heading back to Grand Teton National Park next July to create more intentional elopements with couples who love adventure, nature, horses, film, slower days, earthing, and wedding experiences that feel deeply connected to the land.

Zoie + Mark, we are so happy for you. Delivering galleries like this brings me so much joy.
