Michelle and Justin decided to have an intimate wedding outdoors at Jonathan Edwards Winery with their closest friends and family instead of eloping to Bora Bora. They did honeymoon in paradise and I tried my darnedest to have them take me with them but instead I enjoyed their instastories. Michelle googled photographers and found me even after she was given several photographers to choose from. What drew her to me was my natural, organic style and vibe. We met this past spring for their engagement session at Elizabeth Park and got to know one another in the rose gardens and later to the woods nearby. Engagement sessions are the best way to feel at ease in front of the camera. It was really important to Justin to not have any posed photos, so we navigated the waters at their engagement and we laughed a lot. When their wedding day came, they had complete confidence in knowing I would capture them in their essence with the focus on their love story. Movement is the best way to be yourself and natural in front of the camera with the one you love. Michelle and I shared stylish inspiration via Instagram to stay in touch and build excitement for her wedding day. Speaking of stylish, everything about their wedding day was a boho dream come true. Even their beloved dog, Brandon traveled with them all the way from North Carolina to be a part of the ceremony complete with a floral collar and bow tie. At sunset, guests sipped wine in beautiful goblets while staying cozy under warm blankets as they witnessed Michelle and Justing exchange vows. Their reception was held in the barrel room lit by candlelight and a gorgeous chandelier by Ryan Designs. It was the perfect setting for an intimate wedding at a stunning location. Cheers to a lifetime of love.
