Steph + Justin know the ins and outs of how a wedding day flows and I came up with a seamless timeline to optimize their precious moments together. They were able to experience every part of their wedding day because they had a first look. It’s always a good idea so you can enjoy your time together by having a stress free day.

I met them last summer in Boston for their torrential outdoor engagement at the gorgeous Harvard Arborateum under umbrellas and trees and had a blast, despite the rain. We finished at Dorchester Brewery, took some more photos doing what they love, drinking beer and enjoyed a meal together.  It was a perfect way to decompress and get to know them better before heading north to Maine. Even better, my husband was with me at this engagement session.  It’s always a treat when he can join me. What was even more creative, they made a record album guest book from their engagement photos for their wedding guests to sign.

Steph and Justin carried their love for beer into their floral arrangements. Hops, barley and wheat bouquets were housed in recycled beer bottles. Anywhere a couple can sneak in a sustainable wedding, it makes me so happy.  Their vintage camera collection was exceptional! No such thing as being superstitious on their Friday the 13th wedding!  The sun came out just in time for their outdoor ceremony! Stephanie got ready at The Barns and Justin was right down the road at a local hotel, so driving and traffic wouldn’t be an issue which can affect the flow of your day, not to mention stress.  Always plan for the unexpected! They had their first look under a blooming willow tree and spent time alone together to soak in the moments as Mr. + Mrs Z.  Their bridal party soon joined them for some fun portraits and headed indoors before their guests arrived.  They also had an unplugged wedding, a photographers dream, thank you!  Family photos followed the ceremony where everyone stuck close by. When planning your wedding, it’s such a great idea to let your family members know to hang out post-ceremony, then everyone can go indoors to enjoy cocktails and hors d’oeuvres.  I’m so happy that they got to enjoy their entire day they worked so hard to plan and experience every moment.  Cheers to you both and endless toasts.
