April in Patagonia is something special. It’s fall there, which means cooler temperatures, autumn color, dramatic light, and fewer crowds. Patagonia is known for its wild wind, and while nothing is ever guaranteed there, April can be a little less intense than peak summer. For me, that makes it such a beautiful time for an elopement. The landscape feels moodier. The trails feel quieter. The pace feels slower. And instead of trying to cram everything into one day, you can hike, ride horses, take a glacial boat, eat incredible food, rest, and actually let the experience unfold.
