Winter is the best time for a cozy cabin engagement session in New England. Snuggle up lovers, this one is sure to cool you down in the summer heat. It’s unimaginable to even imagine winter when we are in the thick of summer. Tomorrow is Anthony and Marissa’s wedding and I couldn’t be more excited to see them again.  I’m so grateful they rolled with the cold winter weather and snow and were flexible to go to some different locations I had in mind. We ultimately landed at my dear friends home where my husband and I got married in October 2015! It’s important for me to put my couples at ease, to be comfortable in their environment and with me.

Putting a wedding together can be stressful. Anthony and Marissa have been working so hard to make their day so special and I appreciate all their efforts.  It’s my goal for couples to have a stress-free wedding day so they can enjoy every moment they spent their energy, time and hard-earned investment.  I want to be your friend so you can reach out and contact me at any point along the journey to your wedding day should you have any questions or concerns.  Even if you just want to say, hey and update me on something cool you are planning for the big occasion!  Your wedding is going to be so magical my friends.

Some tips I have for all my couples the week before the wedding is this. Drink a lot of water, to stay hydrated during the summer months. Avoid alcohol the night before so you feel your best and remember your precious day.  Have snacks throughout the day so you don’t get hangry.  Get some exercise, take a yoga class or go for a walk to release the stress from your body. Take an epsom salt tubby with lavender oil to calm your nerves and drink a cup of chamomile tea to have a calm nights sleep.  I think my massage therapist career has really led me to put people at ease and be a calming presence on their wedding day.

What keeps you calm when you are preparing for your wedding?
