Are you wondering where to have your engagement session or wedding? ย How about a day trip? Harkness Memorial Park is one of my favorite beaches in Connecticut. ย The English gardens are straight out of Home & Gardens. Pack your picnic and your bathing suit, volleyball or kite, this is one place you will want to stay all day. ย Amy & Derek met me in early October for what looked like a summer engagement session. ย I love the seasonal progression of the gardens and enormous trees on the property. There is an endless amount of beauty and inspiration to be found here. ย I especially like going during the week when it’s less crowded and off season. We had the whole place to ourselves. ย What’s even better was Amy and Derek’s playfulness and spirit of adventure. I cannot wait for their summer wedding!
