Connecticut All-Day Elopement Adventure Packages

All-Day Adventure Elopement

Bride and groom hiking with backpack on at Connecticut All-Day Elopement Adventure in the Spring.

This all day adventure elopement package is perfect for couples looking for a fun way to celebrate your Connecticut elopement. More than just photography, it’s an experience full of adventure and a day to remember! The package includes photography, activity suggestions, lodging + restaurant guide, as well as vendor recommendation. Don’t worry, we will schedule time for relaxation so you don’t feel like you just ran a marathon.

Having an intentional, well-thought out day is so meaningful and rewarding. When you choose to visit these locations years from now, you’ll look at your sweetheart and remember how you felt. Even better, you’ll have photos you never thought you needed until you see them. In fact, that’s what Liza and Dave said. She told me how transformative their all day vow renewal adventure was. She saw her partner and herself in a different light. Photography has the power to create different perspectives.

Eloping is an exciting way to celebrate your love and commitment to each other. It’s also a fun way to start planning your wedding without having to worry about all the details. Let me take care of planning your dream elopement doing the things you love with tons of helpful recommendations and useful resources. Read more about if eloping is for you here.

All-Day Adventure in Connecticut | Liza + Dave

Liza and Dave celebrated 20 years together and that’s no easy feat! The all-day elopement package is wonderful for outdoorsy, adventurous couples who feel most alive when they are in nature. Read more about Liza’s experience here.

Liza had never treated herself to having hair and make-up done, spending a full day together to just be without the kids and all the other distractions in life. Afterglow bridal hair and make-up came to my studio and treated Liza like the goddess she is for a natural, clean beauty look.

If you are interested in eloping in Connecticut, there are several things to consider before you make your plans. First, you need to decide where you will hold your ceremony. You can choose between the ocean, woods, lake, mountains, waterfalls or your Airbnb. Next, you should think about what you want to do following your ceremony. There are many different options available, such as a small gathering at an Airbnb with a private chef, going out to dinner or a picnic right where you elope! Finally, you should plan how you will handle the legal aspects of your marriage. This includes getting your marriage license, permits, getting married by an officiant or have a friend marry you.

Here’s a look at the kind of day we could create together!

Couples Mountain or Gravel Bike Adventure

Couples mountain biking

Liza and Dave love to ride their bikes in the woods, so this was the perfect way to share one of our favorite trails with them through the woods. We have several we can recommend for all abilities. Best part, we will be right there with you having the best time. I’ll stop a few times and suggest areas for photos, so like I mentioned, it won’t be a marathon.

Couples Yoga at Connecticut All-day elopement

Yoga is the perfect transition after biking or hiking and also a wonderful way to set your intentions as a couple for your elopement or vow renewal. Yoga not only lengthens and strengthens your muscles, it’s a wonderful way to connect to your breath, nature and each other. It’s calming and grounding and being outdoors by the river was even more rewarding. Jen of Lam Yoga is available to do private couples yoga at her studio, outdoors or your Airbnb!

From burning sage and palo Santo, to gently guiding you through a grounding class together, she finishes with singing bowls and deep relaxation in shivasana. We picked up breakfast burritos and enjoyed those by the river after yoga together. Sounds perfect doesn't it?

Outdoor Activities For Your Connecticut Elopement

There are so many things to do in Connecticut! Whether you enjoy hiking, biking, fishing, kayaking, swimming, skiing, snowboarding, golfing, horseback riding, shopping, dining out, get a massage or just relaxing at home, there’s something for everyone. Choosing what you like to do the best, I can help you plan your day with plenty of time to relax and enjoy when you aren’t moving your body in nature!

Liza and Dave have Old Town kayaks and with plenty of rivers, lakes and ocean accessibility, we can go anywhere. We chose the river, since it was so close to all of our other activities that day. They took a gentle cruise down the river and since then, it’s reinvigorated Dave to spend more time in the kayak.

Whether you want to do a lot of activities or just a few, we can customize your elopement package based on what you prefer to do that day. Heck, why not make it a weekend! Remember, your elopement is your day, done your way!

Connecticut Hiking Elopement Locations + Planning Resources

When you book me as your elopement photographer, I provide you with plenty of locations and activities to choose from. More than a photographer–an adventure buddy, a friend, with elopement planning recommendations and guidance!

I planned for Liza and Dave to take a short, easy hike to a beautiful vista to have their vow renewal, also perfect spot for a ceremony and watch the sun set. We packed a few beers from Brewery Legitimus, a local brewer and set off on our woodland adventure.

The plantable vow books from Whole Weddings and beautiful bouquet by Wild Roots Flower Farm are all locally sourced and sustainable. Liza and Dave had the most beautiful ceremony on the cliff overlooking the surrounding hills.
