These two cheerful east coasters found themselves Denverites and settled into mountain life in no time. Molly and Sam have a lovely nest where they cooked us a delicious Christmas brunch to enjoy and fuel up on before we hiked up St. Mary’s Glacier for their Colorado winter adventure elopement. Molly made spiced hot apple cider, delicious egg bake, cinnamon buns to fuel us up the mountain and so much more!
They each bought each other their first Christmas ornaments for the tree, an old camper wagon and trailer, how perfect for this adventurous couple. We started out picking out their favorite albums on vinyl and believe it or not, they chose John Prine’s song, “Inspite of Ourselves” my husband and my first dance song. The common interests between us are unreal! Even though it’s cold in Colorado, when the sun is out, it warms your bones. Molly braved the cool temperatures on the mountain and we were fortunate there was no wind, plus, she had Sam to warm her up! I love their playful spirits and these two are off enjoying New Mexico right now literally chilling in an Airstream. Baby it’s cold outside!
Our week in Colorado was filled with hiking and snowshoeing every day from the Flat Irons and many trails in Boulder to Idaho Springs and Estes. If you want to elope in the mountains in Colorado, I’d love to here from you! It’s the perfect getaway from the often gray New England winters. I’m booking 2019 and 2020 intimate weddings and elopements. Contact me to learn more.
Happy Trails!
