Cathedral Ledge Fall Elopement
Lia and Aitor reached out to me for their fall elopement in the White Mountains of New Hampshire. Home to some of the most stunning scenery in all of New England. Since they live in Texas looking for a breathtaking getaway, the White Mountains provide an ideal destination!
For an adventurous couple, the idea of an elopement deep in the mountains was just what they were looking for. They created a special experience for the whole family, so they chose a breathtaking destination for the kids' break that would provide plenty of exciting activities. The wedding was truly the adventure of a lifetime!
Getting Ready at their Airbnb in Intervale, NH
The couple were getting ready for their elopement, so they chose an Airbnb that would fit their whole family. The mountaintop house had a stunning view that made it the perfect spot to get ready. I was more than happy to help them find the best place that was closeby to their elopement.
When George and I arrived, we were welcomed with open arms. Their families made us feel right at home. Lia's daughter and mother helped her prepare for the day in one of the rooms while Aitor hid away in another, getting ready for beautiful bride and groom portraits.
After finishing their writing of their vows, Aitor and Lia were ready to cut their cake together! Before they did, I documented all the amazing details that Lia was wearing. We then proceeded to the beautiful location of Diana's Baths in Bartlett, NH for her first look with Aitor. Everything about their style and them cutting the cake was gorgeous and made for a memorable experience!
First Look at Diana's Baths
They wanted an intimate elopement in the White Mountains, so we chose Diana's Bath for their secluded first look. This area was perfect for them due to the lush woodlands and easy walk to the falls. The big surprise awaited Lia at their spot in the woods, surrounded by natural beauty. After a few photos there, we explored further on and found beautiful locations that were still full of privacy near the waterfalls. Everything about this elopement day was stress-free and full of adventure! Lia looked stunning in her wedding dress, which I had the pleasure of capturing before their first look. It was truly a unique experience for us all!
Echo Lake Ceremony
The aqua blue lake, fall foliage and the majestic mountain amalgamate together to create a stunning backdrop for their elopement ceremony at Echo Lake. Plus, it's only a short drive away for more breathtaking picture-perfect landscapes at the top of Cathedral Ledge!
When you elope in New Hampshire, you must get married by an officiant. If they aren't a resident of New Hampshire, they have to apply for a special use permit. George is part of my elopement packages and your officiant is included as long as he is not working.
The couple read their beautiful vows in Spanish in front of their family. I was tearing up witnessing Lia listening to Aitor's vows.
Another wonderful way to include your family for your elopement is to have them do a reading during your ceremony. Lia's daughter participated by doing a reading to make their ceremony even more special.
Cathedral Ledge Elopement
For the couples grand finale to their elopement, we took a short, easy hike and stunning golden hour portraits by the beautiful fall foliage atop Cathedral Ledge. With the sun setting in the background, they celebrated with a champagne toast and a new family photo of their children. After, they headed back to an Airbnb and enjoyed a catered dinner with their family.
