I’m so lucky I found Amanda Bjorn on Instagram because that’s how I was able to to travel to Havana.  Cuba is extremely inspiring from the art, music, culture and people, there is no shortage of beautiful backdrops for me to photograph your destination wedding or elopement.  The pops of color and warm smiles and sunshine brought this winter weary, New Englander to life.  This was the most heart-opening, enriching experience I have ever explored with a wonderful group of women photographers. I felt right at home with the local artists, models and photographers and came home with new friends.  I don’t want to look like a tourist when I travel and I try my hardest to blend in and get to know the people and culture. Amanda is a pro and will guide you with ease to travel deeper.

I almost didn’t make my Women’s Photography Tour due to not one, but two Noreasters.  With my flights cancelled,  I took planes, trains, buses and automobiles to and from Cuba.  If I had to do it all over again, I would in a heartbeat.  I can’t wait to go back and explore Vinales with my husband, ride horses in the tobacco fields and explore the countryside, the people and villages.  Adventurous couples, Cuba has your name on it, let’s go! Learn  more here.  Let’s embrace this passionate country and culture together. Wouldn’t that be fun?.  It’s my goal to learn conversational Spanish before my trip to Guatemala in November.
